Super Saturday. In one hour, my nation celebrates as a Muslim prays to his god for his victory; yells with joy as a mixed race girl from Sheffield destroys the field; and then to cap it all goes wild with delight as a ginger bloke rounds it all off. We might share this magic island with a few arseholes, but to the massive majority it doesn't matter where you come from or what you look like, you are all GREAT Britons.
Yet another loss with plenty of booing, foam daffodils, hen parties...just the usual Millenimum stuff. 🙂
