Yes, another Friday, another excuse for lots of lovely sporting pictures to look at. Today, loosely based around the theme of happiness. Clean, worksafe images only if you please....

To kick off;

David Rudisha. Finest moment on the track for me;

Cedric is stoked about his new steed!

Usual subject from me...

Galway's Joe Canning, after scoring the opener against Kilkenny. Love the two players on the ground looking on...no doubt at the goalie picking the sliotar out of the back of the net.

Darcy, I think you can just make out one of them saying, "That was yours!" 🙂

Schiavone kisses the clay, Paris 2010. I'm not even much of a tennis fan, but this was ace:

Kelly holmes for me and better quality picture

For what it meant and what it helped achieved - how they were treated afterwards including the Silver medallist is an appalling legacy
It may not quite be joy though

My Great Uncle hit the stumps from square(one stump to aim at) to cause the first ever tied test match. WI vs AUS at the Gabba. In the next test he was out due to his cap falling off onto the stumps!! I was lucky enough to be in Aus when it was the 40th anniversary of the famous match and went to the Gabba to see the test match along with the surviving members of the teams.

The Jade Jones one does it for me. I watched the final and cheered like she was my own daughter when she won. Pure unmitigated joy.
