My wife had a driving instructor from not too far away from you Macc who had his german shepherds hair spun and knitted into a jumper, by a lady in shetland. He was proper bizarre...

Ah, this and some of the other recommendations are all nominees for the Diagram Prize for odd book titles. I always liked - The 2009–2014 World Outlook for 60-milligram Containers of Fromage Frais. Compelling characters, unexpected plot twists and a tragic denouement.

And one of the reviews had me in stitches.

As an individual plagued with chronic constipation and bowel distress for most of my adult life, I felt that my prayers had finally been answered by Captain Trimmer's bold and succinct title. You can imagine my disappointment when I realised that, once again, my dyslexia had let me down.
