Anyone on here into Aussie band The Chats? They’re touring the UK next year - tickets onsale tomorrow. I’ll be bagging a couple of tickets for the Barrowlands and hoping to find a mate to go with. If not I’m there on my own! Too good to miss. Ditto Amyl and the Sniffers this year.
If they were coming to Brighton I’d have been tempted but I can’t be arsed to go to Brixton. I think they keep slipping into my playlists because I like The Bennies
Yep, saw them touring shortly after smoko came out. The gig got upgraded to a bigger venue. Was supposed to see them earlier this year, postponed and rearranged, but I ended up with covid so couldn't go. Hopefully gonna go to next year's manc gig.
Then dropping into my YouTube feed (probably because of king gizzard) led to me finding amyl and the sniffers and Dennis commetti.
Never seen them live, but they're from the area i live in. My kids think they're ace. Oddly enough the first time i heard them was on Tea and Biscuits.
One of their videos was filmed right next to my office. It actually caused a bit of a stink, because it wasn't the most family friendly of songs or videos ... and probably not acceptable use of hospital equipment (you can probably work out which video it is)
I believe the person that let them use the space may no longer work in the organisation!

Saw Amyl at Knebworth, they were excellent. I’ll look up Dennis Commetti mentioned above too.
