14 on a normal day, 15 for an uplift day, 17 for a race.

Isnt it a bit sad to be able to recount them from memory and have different configurations?

Hands up if you've ever bought zip ties in a certain colour to match your bike...

raises hand 😳

(currently only 5 on the race bike)

My commuter has one holding on a toy soldier that I found and a few more holding bit of old inner tube in place for bash-protection duties.

My MTB has quite a few, plus lots of duct tape.

Sad, nope. If you ride an uplift you have to zip tie your pass on so +1.
If you race you have to zip tie your race number on +3.

If you build your own bike you should have a rough idea of how many cable tie points there are on your frame.

Of course if you're a fat IT worker that doesn't really ride then.....

About 10 at last count. The PA uses 5 just for the rear brake hose.

Did I hit a nerve yeti??

Ride a fair bit but have run inside 25 mins for 5 miles so hardly fat. How are your race stats or are you too busy counting zip ties? 😆

Did the Dyfi with two zipties holding a sheared suspension bolt in place, so that was +2 from the normal???

Well to continue your in the vein of dillusion.

Pretty real actually, if a few years ago.
Also finished 7th as an O/40 in the UK over 10k on the road. Still not fat though as per your assertion.
Anyway any real results ? You did mention that a couple of your zip ties were for race numbers so come on how about sharing some real stats?

Think I've got 8, in yellow to compliment my green on-one.... 😆

sub 25 mins for 5 miles suggests you are one of the quickest runners in the country, certainly elite level. I couldn't run one sub five minute mile! One day...

No. I ran it a few years back, hundreds of club athletes run under 25 every year, Lots inside 24 and even a few inside 23. I wasnt event in the top 10 in my club when I ran that!
One of my team mates ran 23:01 on a hilly course! clocked under 23 when he ran 28:15 on the track for 10k!

Hands up if you were a telecoms engineer over 5 years ago and have so many cable ties still kicking around the place you'll probably never need to buy any...

Rasies hand
