This is why I now go to a barber for my beard trimming. My hair is easier though as I don’t have any.

My mum did that to my dad. He was about 65 or so. He wasn't pleased, she pissed herself laughing. Only thing to do was buzz it all over.

Yep, I used to do a #1 all over, was in a bit of a rush one day, first cut was fine, comb stuck at the end of the cut and detatched, by the time i realised I was halfway down cut 2, on a zero.

Ended up just going very short for a while..(I’ve got long’ish hair) should be fine. You might get asked, just say you are trying shorter hair for a change.
It must be a right of passage for those that trim their own hair.
One Sunday evening I had just finished doing the main bit with a number 7. Took the guard off to tidy up some edges then noticed a long bit front and centre that I'd missed with the 7. Went straight for it forgetting it had no guard on. Tried to blend it in to various decreasing lengths ending up at zero all over.
At least 2 people at work the next day walked straight past me without recognising me.
