I'd give the 250K to charity and kill all of them for the good of the species. it's like they found ones that could just about dress themselves and form a sentence so were to high brow for big brother and just said "say some crap business sound bites and we can get you on telly"

Seems a shame that the one who's going to win is already earning very good money as a doctor.

Poor initial vetting for Jordan to even get on telly without his own business!

Or..."let's find a credible candidate who we can sack late on in a surprise revelation that he doesn't have his own business."

(I'm sure that hasn't happened really, but I no longer trust the makers of these programmes any further than I'd throw them.)

Poor initial vetting for Jordan

??? Its perfect vetting - the ultimate set up. This is reality TV with stereotyped participants. The whole 250k is v misleading and at best a red herring. The whole thing is designed to max viewing figures and the business connection is purely incidental. Jordan crashing and burning was perfectly to script.

Having said that - this cliched and much hyped episode was very disappointing.

Loved the reverse sexism from the oddly dressed one on the LHS of Shuralan - "I am just really pleased (cue sycophantic lapping and brown nosing) that your two finalists are women". Now just imagine of Nick had said the same thing but reversing the sex!!!

Don't normally watch this but saw last nights and what surprised me was that business plans were not looked at in the first programme. Some of those thrown out earlier may have had excellent ideas and plans but just happened to fail on some silly "game". Still I suppose if they did it that way round you would not end up with as good a show.

I agree with tazzy. the best thing that can happen to those people is that they're removed from the gene pool. They might breed some young apprentices like those horrible little precocious tories they brought out the other year.

Firstly, good that it's two women finalists.

Secondly, it's a bit sad that one of them is proposing to inject poisons into people with low self esteem and the other is a game player of such irritating proportions.

How can that lady be a Doctor, she's only 24. Presumably they really mean Medical Student and she's doing her stint in A&E.

That interviews episode is the only one I really watch. 5 dubious chancers with nowhere to hide.

You could be a doctor in your early to mid 20s but you'd be at the very very bottom of a long climb to get to the top of your profession. So she could have qualified (just), but she certainly shouldn't be a GP yet.

Did anyone else think that Jordan had the look and build of an oompaloompa?

Clearly you've never seen Doogie Howser M.D.

Doogie Hooser MD? Wooosh.... Without wanting to sound too rude, wasn't Jordan part dwarf part oompah loompah (but mostly idiot)?

She's 24 so can be Dr working in A&E.

I'm shocked that Jordan had so little shame that he actually carried on after being outed as a marketing/project assistant and then outed a second time as not owning any of the company he was trying to sell. He seemed to think he could have talked his way around the issue and end up in the final.

Seems a competent project manager but if he honestly has so little business sense that a gentleman's agreement was enough to work on something for 6 months, I'd not want to do business with him.

😆 it was just an kids TV program I remember from the late 80s/early 90s. It was about some child genius who became a doctor at the age of 14. Maybe I'm the only one who watched it.

Neil and Jordan both fell for their own hype (I, a self-proclaimed excellent salesman, was the best at selling my own house therefore all home owners will be better at selling their own houses than will estate agents?!?), Francesca seemed lacking in spark and brain, Leah's idea seemed to bother me and Alan Sugar equally on ethical grounds and therefore irritating, but not as irritating as at the start of the series, Luisa gets it, which is nice.

So far Lord S. hasn't had much luck with female winners - one quit due to personal differences, one hooked up with another employee and want straight onto maternity leave and then quit and the third took him to an industrial tribunal!

I thought the program last night was pretty good, entertaining stuff.
I'm a bit disappointed that the two in the final are the least likeable people. I think that doesn't give a good message.

I find it hard to believe that the obvious fault with Jordan's business plan was only picked up on in the last week or 2. Surely, the shows reasearchers go though all this stuff at the start?

said the exact same thing to the wife last night, i guess its a TV show end of the day and they have to keep a classic back... same with 'Baggs the brand' and his 'internet ISP' I guess.

Sugar seemed gutted when neil went, i think mrs cupcake will win but i think the doc deserves it.

you have to wonder why those two even went on the show in the first place?!

I wouldn't employ any of them, including the judges.

I would invest in The "ethical business" Doctor but she should cut down the make-up she is wearing because she looks like a porn star with them on, but is £250K enough for this setup?

As for the other one ... hmmm ... £250K should be enough but the business will remain small. Again cut down on those bloody make-up. Yes, she thinks she is a porn star wannabe but ffs ... over used of make-up is really old fashion.

I think the Doc's lips are enough to put anyone off her business idea. They seem to have inflated and deflated through the process. pretty family though.
