I never complain about the ads as I realise we need them but what's with the wheelbarrow cost ?

Last time I bought them they were about £30 for run of the mill pressed steel exactly the same as the ones in the ad but now 5x dearer now

Have they got a Michelin x climate tyre maybe, titanium bolts or a carbon fibre chassis

Hope the wheelbarrow are us company don't apply for a ban on me

Wasn't it a little while ago that Maserati decided we were the ideal target demographic?

Maybe it's the same here with premium wheelbarrows. I now have a sudden hankering after a carbon/titanium wheelbarrow 🤣

I fancied a Belle wheelbarrow recently, sturdy galvanised chassis and robust plastic body. Over £200… I revised my desires downwards as ever in life.

How much for just a wheel?  My wheelbarrow has been out of service since I left it too close to a bonfire and the tyre exploded.  They make quite a bang if you’re wondering, almost soiled myself 😀

You can get puncture proof/solid ones. There's a little bit pricey, worth it particularly for the infrequent user who'll only realise it's flat or burst at the time they want to use it. TBF they'll still melt if left near a bommy! Screwfix, Toolstation, loads of places sell them.

I had a brief moment a few weeks ago where i was getting ads to loads of places selling knock off cycling gear. rahpa.cc, cerevlo, specializeddiscountsales, santacrus and so on. Seems to have stopped now.

Thanks, Screwfix even have them in stock near me.  £24.98 but looking like a bargain compared to a new barrow

Beware! The ever changing standards malarkey doesn’t just apply to bicycles - different axle widths different diameters. Some come with adapters and some don’t fit any wheelbarrow ever made!

Don’t be so pessimistic, new wheel’s gonna bring the garden path alive!

Oddly I was going to weigh in to suggest you consider sticking with a pneumatic wheel, the lack of 'suspension' in the solid barrow wheel I bought drove me nuts on bumpy paths, so I ended back on pneumatic.

I’d agree with the pneumatic tyre, I eventually managed to fit a solid tyred wheel after using some 6902 bearings from my spares. It’s not as nice to wheel and next time I’ll fit an inflatable and Slime.
*I’m a heavy user of wheelbarrows.
