The 3500 light is "Dual Branded" on the international Olight site. They don't hide that it's also sold as a Magicshine.
3500 was/is tempting at that price, seems the beam is a bit narrow though
Exactly where I'm at. I've looked at a few reviews and videos. The difference between flood and spot modes doesn't seem very much. Maybe its OK in the real world.
Still trying to find a deal on a Garmin Inreach Mini, seen then for £250 and was hoping to get it slightly cheaper as it is a large chunk of cash to spend, so any saving would be good - anyone seen any deals? Thanks.

Also saw that big selection of woodscrews, great selection and price
Apologies if this is a duplicate, I've not read the thread. Olight are redoing their 'free' mini torch that we were discussing I think on the EDC thread recently.
From Facebook:

I think the 3E takes an AA, the 1R is USB rechargeable.
Previously the offer was to pay £5 postage, but they were well worth a fiver.
PNW components have 20% off and oneup components have 15% off.

Slightly different this time around - you get one free with a purchase of something else.

15 to 20% off on 7mesh.com
Those Tenda MW3 things, are they ok for standard home broadband or should I look at something faster for future proofing?
Plusnet says my current deal is 38-40Mb download speed but I can upgrade to 71-72 max. Those Tenda things go up to 100 so should be fine? I have one computer that doesn't have a WiFi card and is cabled in via a ppwerline adapter, no idea if the port on the Tenda is fast enough for that but should be at least equal to my 7yr old Plusnet router? Or do I just plug the powerline adapter into my existing router still?
Thanks!

Perfect for. I've ordered 2 packs. Crazy cheap!
Has anyone seen any Orange Bikes dealers doing a generic price cut today - doesnt matter where in the country! Credit card is quivering....
We aren't offering a discount on black Friday, instead a £1 of they sale or booking today, and through the weekend, goes to Edale MRT. They will notice it more than a £1 discount ☺️
Sportpursuit have the Garmin Fenix 5S plus watch for £300

Just bare in mind your broadband speed is not always the only consideration. Do you, or will you, ever move data between devices in you home, eg. backing up to network storage, streaming media files from one drive to another.

The Olight/magicshine is 99.97 quid on amazon (despatches from amazon, sold by 3rd party)
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Olight-RN-3500-Rechargeable-Waterproof/dp/B091GCJFBH
EDIT - though I'd go for an RN3000 from Magicshine UK @ 115.98 shipped. All in one unit, nearly the same effective battery capacity and a broader beam spread I believe.
Magicshine UK have 20% off with MAGIC20
Magicshine China have loads off and they claim to refund your 'tax' along with 5-15 day delivery. Almost worth a punt for a monteer 6500 @ £198 with a further 10% off with BLACK10
Melon Optics 15%, or sign up to their email for a bit more.

Not strictly a Black Friday discount, but a good price (£130) on the Moon Canopus at JE James:

Can anyone tell me if I can downloads OS maps onto this?
If anyone's been cogitating about spot trackers, OS has 20% off which makes the Garmin Inreach £240 ( plus subs of course)
Superstar have 20% off everything and 33% off if you spend over £250.
The latter would buy a lot of chainrings and brakepads - or perhaps a pair of wheels.
I'm getting a headset anyway.
Not strictly a Black Friday discount, but a good price (£130) on the Moon Canopus at JE James:
I bought one a few weeks back from them at the same price - it's very good VFM and seems to be very well thought out and good quality (and ludicrously bright!)
Morvelo Overland have some fairly substantial discounts. Particularly 50% off the mountain jersey and a couple of jackets. link here
Can anyone tell me if I can downloads OS maps onto this?
I think you can download Garmins own version via Garmin Basecamp if you have some. I did it via a (no longer available) hooky copy and it wasn't worth it tbh even for free, not on such a small screen, and there's actually more paths marked on the standard OSM based maps.
It's also worth plugging Garmins into a computer occasionally with Garmin Express installed and updating to the latest map. Stuff gets added all the time.
Merlin have some good deals. I've got one of these moon lights for the helmet and it's decent
https://www.merlincycles.com/moon-meteor-storm-rechargeable-front-bike-light-2019-157512.html
Edge 530 : Can anyone tell me if I can downloads OS maps onto this?
Yes, sort of. You will get some mapping supplied with it, and you can add third party maps - Talkytoaster maps ( https://shop.talkytoaster.me.uk/product-category/electronic - £13) are excellent and based on Openstreetmap. You can also get a Ordnance Survey based map via Thorns ( https://www.the-thorns.org.uk/mapping/help/ukgarmin.html - £15) however they aren't routable so turn by turn navigation doesn't work with them. There are also guides to build your own maps from OpenStreetMap data for free if you want.

On the hunt for a deal on a Apple 4K tv for zwift and a barbie dream house this year.
Can’t bring myself to pay £250 for a big lump of plastic.

We got her this instead:
Good quality and MASSIVE. The barbie dreamhouse was never mentioned again.

Thanks Horatio and Jon.
I'm pretty sure Garmins already come with opensteetmap (OSM) based mapping installed. Downloading it was only necessary for older Garmins running the awful Garmin Topo mapping.
Got a bell MIPS helmet for £40 delivered from Black's
Nice! Had a couple of cheap Bell helmets before and been quite impressed
One for the barbecue fans, there’s some good offers at Riverside Garden Centre. Lots of Weber stuff at half price and better.
Nilfisk pressure washer, half price. https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-Core-Pressure-Washer-Garden/dp/B08KYHZ7HP
Absolute steal.
Has anyone managed to convince Vodafone to honour that pixel deal? Tried today and they said I needed a contract alongside.
Vodafone in Witney (Oxfordshire) did the pixel 6 for me at £369 and would have done the pro for £605 plus delivery as they didn’t have it in stock. We have one phone in the house on a cheap sim only so do have an account with Vodafone but apparently not a necessity. Apparently I should get an email to claim the free Stadia as well.
Just bought some tyre inserts and was delighted to get 20% off.
Leatherman 25% SURPRISE25
Free delivery at Decathlon
@nickjb Excellent thanks - I have a list of stuff I need from Decathlon, and was going to call in at the weekend but didn't since Storm Arwen messed my plans up.
Edit: annoyingly one of the things I wanted is "not available online" 🙄 But thanks all the same.
decided not to buy a few bits from 7mesh as £8 seemed a bit steep for such a small package. today, same 20% off and free shipping.
Not really a BF deal, but ProBikeKit (UK based - part of THG) are offering in-stock AXS Reverbs for some big discounts (>£150 off RRP).
Not all sizes are on offer, but pretty much all of the 30.9mm versions (125-170mm) are £540 or less. The 125mm is £524.
In 31.6mm, you can get the 125mm for £540.
Nothing going on the 34.9mm - the only option is 100mm at £665.
The prices are VAT inc and delivered in a few days. Includes the battery, charger and remote, so the full package.
Chain Reaction have Maxxis Minion DHF MTB WT Tyre (3C-EXO+-TR) 29 and 27.5 at £40. It's been tough finding them at any price this year.
(some other decent discounts on Maxxis but a pain to click through them all to work out what's actually in stock and what size they are)
£30 off polarised and photochromic glasses at rad8 with code Christmas21

ProBikeKit AXS Reverb Dropper
WHAT.....Lordy I'm out of touch with Reverb prices thats just mental even at the sale prices ain't it....?
I’m out of touch with Reverb
Not for the wireless axs version
Just thought I'd bump this. I was umming over the olight rn3500 deal. Decided to go for it. A scour through the website showed some other offers, a free torch and a discount voucher for your first order. I registered first then placed the order and got an extra £10 off (neither offer shows up until registered). So that's the rn3500 light, a rear light, a torch and a whistle (that got added at the checkout) for £90. Not a bad deal if it all turns up. Deal expires at midnight I think.
Has anyone managed to convince Vodafone to honour that pixel deal? Tried today and they said I needed a contract alongside
I saw a discussion about that on HUKD. Apparently some people have got it without getting a contract but it's a bit of a lottery depending on store/manager etc.
