...represents ice hockey at its finest, and it's on right now. If any of you have access (Premier Sports, for example), can I suggest you take a look even if you aren't a hockey fan?

It's about to go into the 3rd period. You won't be disappointed.

Habs rip the scumbags to pieces 😆

I went to see Finlands equivalent between Jokerit and HIFK, it is rubbish to try and watch the game as you are so far away. Atmosphere was great though.

It was an excellent game, and yes, I am a Habs fan.

That said, having bitten the bullet and gone with Premier Sports, I will miss not getting the Canadian streams I used to get through HockeyStreams.com, as I will no longer see the commercials for Canadian Tire punctuating the game (virtually unchanged since my childhood as they are), along with other reminders of my old Canadian life.

Ah well. At least the segment on PK Subban and Brad Marchand contributing to the community between periods 2 and 3 was excellent.

And I LOVED the vintage uniforms.

They should wear vintage gear as well!
Tackaberry Prolites, remember them?

Do I?!? My dad had a pair pretty much until I left home in the early 1990s. They might be considered vintage now, but to me they will always be current. 8)

On a similar note, as a young goalie in the 1970s and 80s myself, my heroes included Ken Dryden, Mike Palmeteer, and Tony Esposito. Consequently, my kids see the pictures of all the old guys in their period equipment, and absolutely marvel that we used to play in such gear.

Personally, I think it led to a different, and better, sort of play, in that it was not so conducive to the whole 'butterfly-style' of goaltending that the modern guys have.

I guess I'm just old.

Good goal against Raask, & he's a proper good minder!

Who fancies who for the Cup then? I'd love to see ANY Canadian team get it but can't see it happening. Quite fancy the Rangers to go the whole hog but there's plenty more teams who can come good later on.
Lets open a book!
