If you are thinking of buying, don't use the company Tomtop linked in the article. I ordered on 14th September, the product page stated 72 hours dispatch, (still does) and it's yet to be sent.
I've had various different excuses from the customer services, last one was 3 days ago that it was "under quality inspection". Flaming useless. I'm going to cancel as it's now available on Deal Xtreme and Banggood, which I've had no issues with in the past.

I've bought from Tomtop in the past (maybe 18mths ago though) and had no problems.
I've bought a few things from banggood, no problems at all. I'd recommend them for China imports (although don't expect the tracking to work, it's completely useless).
I got an Armor 2 a while back from banggood, think it took about 2-3 weeks to show up. I paid the optional 5 quid bribe 😀
Decent phones BTW. Not perfect, but pretty good. My version has been superseded a few times now and each iteration seems to have mainly concentrated on headline grabbing display size, adding a notch, changes/improvements and blinging up the case to make it look more like a normal phone.
Any further opinions on this phone? I'm liking the look of it and not sure whether to jump back to the smaller brands or stick with Samsung.
I would like a half decent camera so interested in how good the software is.
Also keen, got a Sony XZ1 Compact and unsure if this would work as well or be a significant drop. Waterproof and mahoosive battery are appealing as well as stock Android (which I'm assuming will be easy enough to update).
Also interested.
Looking for a slightly larger screen than my Sony Z5 Compact and this looks ideal, (Unless anyone can point me in the direction of some varifocal screen protectors for the Z5.....)

The first look review has a link to probably find out more on singletrack tech site (whatever that is)...except it is identical to the first look article here, so nothing to report on yet...which is annoying as I'm tempted but don't want a step back compared to my current device.
I re-ordered from DealExtreme, and it's not turned up yet, but it has at least been dispatched! I'll try and answer your questions when it arrives.
I've got a Ulefone S8 Pro, interested to hear anyone's opinions of the new phone. The camera on mine is rubbish, it sometimes gets the colour balance completely wrong and turns everything green, the flash is pathetic, auto focus seems determined to pick the wrong subject (or none at all), lens is slow so everything is blurred, and there's a massive shutter delay.
Apart from the camera its a good phone which is really frustrating!

Google is watching and suggested this...incredibly labour intensive! Where labour is cheap and long fingernails seem to be in the job description for fiddly work 🙂
