Binners.

That's an extraordinary broad brush you're using there. The straw based paint you're using could do with having some thinners added as well.

There's so much hilarity in this article, firstly the womans attitude towards the bald bloke, then the writers attitude that seems to assume that appearances don't matter for men because women are all gold digging hoes anyway. I love humanity.

https://melmagazine.com/lets-talk-about-bald-shaming-ad0ba205f75b

Spencer Kobren, Founder of the American Hair Loss Association, gets at this in some of his discussions of baldness. He calls bald shaming the “last bastion of political incorrectness” — an area of male body-shaming for which we offer men no protection. In a video in his series “The Bald Truth,” he tells an anecdote about a woman approaching him at dinner in Los Angeles one night who compliments his hair and is surprised when he tells her that he actually paints the back of his head to hide the balding. She tells him it’s absolutely ridiculous to care so much about something so trivial. He notes the irony that the comment is coming from a 45-year-old woman who has clearly spackled so much makeup on her face that her real face is virtually undetectable.

“This is all I got,” he said, referring to his appearance.

“This is basically what I look like. I don’t wear a face full of makeup, a push-up bra, a spray-on tan, fake nails, high heels. I had a shirt on, my head was painted, and I was ready to go. This woman was basically wearing a costume to leave the house…. The fact that she would even consider trivializing what we go through when it probably takes her three hours to get out of the ****ing house in the morning is laughable to me, and I think it illustrates the insanity that is the way society views men dealing with issues with their appearance. They want every man to look like George Clooney, but if he tries to maintain his appearance, there’s something wrong with them.”

He’s obviously pissed — and he fails to realize that in spite of his looks being harder to alter, as a man, he doesn’t have to be good looking if he’s funny or, say, really rich — but that doesn’t mean his sentiment is wrong. Bald men are the butt of jokes. Being bald is bad, but not as bad as being vain about it.

So a fairly mixed bag of responses as expected, ranging from 'she disgusting' to 'this criticising should be ashamed'. I'm personally not critising her, I am however criticising the motivation of the publisher's (and yes I finally read the article). I'm firmly in this camp...

Screw positivity …It’s truly unhealthy to be that overweight with all the health risks associated with it ..and shouldn’t be promoted as being so..

I’m sure she is a lovely person though

As for..

Awe dodums. Did I piss on your chips?

Good topic, rather expected of you considering your history on here of constantly criticising everything you disagree with

I'm afraid you didn't.

Do you not see the irony of your comments though. Seriously fella, without trawling through your history there are numerous instances of you doing just that. Any driving thread, any individual who may have once read the daily mail, I can guarantee you felt the need to post on the 'pit girls should be banned' thread (I can't find it but I'd bet my house you did) with some judgemental nonsense. As I'm sure I did also.

Ultimately it's a forum, which we come on to comment about stuff. Yes I am judgemental at times, but your lack of self awareness is pretty staggering if you don't realise you are also.

Anyway, can't be assed getting into a slagging match with you about how we feel about each other as posters. My post was not meant to be mean to the girl, so apologies if it came across that way.

When you’ve finished s****ing and mocking the cosmo article, perfect though you doubtless are, maybe have a read about the amount of young girls self harming due to unrealistic body image projected onto them by a society of nasty judgemental nobheads

Or you could partly/mostly/pretty much lay the blame at the rise of the social media/facebook/instagram "perfect" selfies and promotional crap espoused by the likes of the kardishans and every single one of those ****in duck pout instagram posts all vying for likes and hugs/hearts self affirmation for narcissistic vapid morally ****ing bankrupt sell your soul for 5seconds of fame and 100,000 followers coz that's all that ****ing matters these days, who cares if every single one of your so called instagram selfies takes a ****ing small army of make up artists/stylists/photographers and 6hrs of work to create one ****ing picture to post to your followers - ****ing sheep the lot of them. Product placement sell-out whores who lie to impressionable young kids - you too can/should/will look like this first thing in the morning as long as you merely follow this routine with the "insert sponsored wonder product here", I'd dance on the ****ing burning embers of their botox/plastic surgery/fake eyelash/bleached teeth lipo suctioned bodies if i thought it would do any good.

Tessa Holliday is just fat to the point of needing clinical help and to my eyes she looks bloody awful, i imagine she's not happy being that weight as the stress it puts on her muscular skeletal frame will be immense, not to mention the health implications, whether she needs a considered medical study into her microbiome/gut bacteria that may be increasing her weight no matter how little she eats or perhaps she may just be a greedy ****ing pig who eats the wrong types of food, either way she needs help.

No , nay , never ..you couldn’t pay me enough ..

Maybe I couldn't pay you enough but could I get you drunk enough? Almost everyone is fair game on the pint scale.

I reckon I would after about 9 pints....

Soma...Don't beat about the bush mate ..just tell it the way it is ..😁

Can't disagree too much ( if at all ) with what you have written.

Frank ...you are assuming I could actually neck 9 pints ?

If you are talking about my limit these days it's probably half of that ..and even then I would like to think I have more control than to tackle a beer goggle monster ..

Always amazing that a magazine that abhors sexism in our chosen sport be it advertising, prodiim girls etc, is so tolerant off (or blind to) the “I’d give ‘er one, would you?” brigade on the forum.
