Many thanks to Rick Campbell who alerted us and the two medics on the lower blue route at Glentress yesterday who attended to my girlfriend after she crashed and injured her head. Also, many thanks to the two guys in the galaxy who drove up to get her.
She is on the mend, nothing broken or serious, but badly bruised and shaken.
Many thanks again to all, very much appreciated.

Glad to hear she's OK. I came past with another couple of riders, but there was already help at hand. We'd stopped for another fallen rider on the just trail above you (just after the fly-over). Silly bugger had been riding without a helmet, so a subsequent ground/face collision had left him with a bleeding eye and chin. Could have been a lot worse. Hopefully, he's learnt a lesson.

How exactly would a helmet have helped protect him from those injuries? 😉
the helmet front would have probably kept his eye off the ground?
