For various tedious reasons we have to book our holidays a long way in advance.

Made a provisional booking on a place in Weymouth in January for August 2018. It was too far off for a formal booking, but as far as they we concerned we had it. A formal booking could be made in September 2017 for it.

Looked on the website today and it was booked.

Phoned them up to see if the booking was ours.

It wasn't.

****s

Moan over.

HeRe aer some raNDmo capitals, Blod and bad speeling to make it official.

Looking on the bright side. If they're arseholes about that then they're probably arseholes about most things so its probably a lucky escape.

What sort of thing are you looking for? I'm almost local so if Weymouth is the place for you maybe there are alternatives that I (or others) can recommend

That's crap Harry 🙁

Good show with the random capitals, poor spelling and bold type though.

9/10 just to cheer you up.

Phew!

For one minute I had you on the beach, with the kids, eating ice cream, in shorts, blue skin, a grimace, 35knt winds, onshore breeze, shore dump, no towels.

August.. AirBNB ?? Plenty of nice places just out of Wahaymouth (just looked)

What sort of thing are you looking for? Hotel, Self Catering?

If you're happy to be flexible there's loads of stuff where you could be 30 mins from most of the South Dorset Jurassic beaches. That's what I'd do.

Weymouth is a good base. Anyhow... phuk'em.

We've found a place in Cornwall instead. I just need to speak to the owner to see if my car will fit up the narrow lane that it is on.

When did you pick up the Countach?

I'm heading off to Weymouth in about ten minutes, Taking my bike on the train for a weekend of playing in the quarries on Portland and also over to Puddletown.

Good rant BTW
