About to exchange some Tesco points for Eurotunnel vouchers, when I noticed that it said "online prices are not valid with voucher bookings" . Having read the comments on the Tesco page it seems some people have been stung having to pay more while others have not.
Anyone out there had experience of this? Are the prices generally the same as online when booking over the phone (which you have to do with vouchers)
Cheers
I've always used the vouchers, 2 to 3 times a year, for the last 15 years.
Since it can be done online for the vouchers I go on the Tunnel site and get a price for the dates and time required.
Swap the Tesco vouchers to as near as I can get it.
Once I have the code, prior to lockdown it was a few minutes. I ring them up. Give them the dates and times and book it straight away. I can't think of a time when it varied. Usually need to top up by a couple of pounds due to the Tesco site multiples.
Same here. Get price online, exchange that many vouchers (well, 1/3 that amount but you know what I mean). Ring up and book with the Tesco code. Never had a price change
