Could anyone recommend places to stay (ideally apartments, b&b, that sort of thing) in Tenerife. Looking for some warm weather training in November, and Tenerife is looking highish up on the list.

Ideally close to the coast, and the smaller and quieter the better, though if there's an amazing place hidden away somewhere that'd be good too 🙂

Any recommendations?

Finca Daniella in El Roque - 10 mins from coast, right near a LOT of single track AND back roads/downhill.

The owners live next door, its huge, private and EPIC!
Be sure to drop down to Valle San Lorenzo and eat at Meson Eras de Las Mozas

Cheers, thanks for that! Looks ideal for a few people but should have said there will only be the two of us ... anyone else with suggestions? Ta

Then have a look at some of the places just down the hill in La Camella - small cottages by the day.

We've stayed here a couple of times

and there's this place owned by same people next door

Not on the coast, but fits the small and quiet criteria. A couple of bars/restaurants within walking distance.

Bump bump. Looking at a week in February with the road bike, my wife and our 6 month old son, reasonably cheaply but not too nastily!

Would you recommend that place then ebygomm? Did you need a car, or manage without? Any tips for someone who's never been before?

Cheers!

Chirche - you WILL need a car!
Mind the bus network is very good and will easily take pushchair/bike/etc
