So I had to compile an additional ten, 'cos ten wasn't enough:
Portishead - Dummy
Talk Talk - It's My Life
Maria McKee - Life Is Sweet
Eddie Reader - Driftwood
'Til Tuesday - Coming Up Close
XTC - Apple Venus
Yes - Close To The Edge
Arcade Fire - Funeral
David Byrne & Brian Eno - My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts
Gerry Rafferty - City To City

There are still others I could include, maybe go to a top fifty... 😀

Iron Maiden - Live After Death
The Allman Brothers - Live at Fillmore East
Black Sabbath - Masters of Reality
Neurosis - Through Silver in Blood
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Slayer - Reign in Blood
Alice in Chains - Dirt
Neil Young - Decade (sorry to have a comp, but if we can have live albums, then why not?)
Mastodon - Crack the Skye
Poison Idea - Feel the Darkness

I strictly limited myself to one album per band (otherwise Powerslave by Iron Maiden would have been in there too) and I am sure there are others that could go in there, but this is off the top of my head.

Lastly, this is a newly released first album that I can see making it into my top 10 one day:

@All The Nirvana fans:

I do get why Nevermind keeps appearing, but give "In Utero" another listen. It's a grower.

Useful tip for a 20 year old album!

Many's the time I've gone back to albums I didn't "get" first time around, only to discover years later that I really like them.
