the GF will be done with her diploma by the summer. she's starting to wonder where she should apply. she's a product 'designer'.
criteria being: presence of design culture/studios/i.e work; and with greenery and some landscape (hills, big ones).
thought about milan, but people say it's dirty. vancouver?
looking to go away for a year or more. where'd you recommend?

yeah, thought that too, moses. but i've been living in the farterland for alomost two years. Gf is from munich which'd probably mean going back to her folks for a bit. also find the attitude of the majority of the münchners to be a bit ****y. pricey, too.
not far from proper hills though.
I had a few days in Vancouver this summer. I'd go back. But it's said to be pricey to live there.
