As a family we have decided that we want to start washing regularly and, after a wet week in the Lakes without any proper kit, I realise we need to get some comfortable and suitable kit for washing during the winter months.
The last time I washed regularly it was simply a case of soap (Pears) or bubble bath however I see now there is lots of kit such as shower gels, exfoliators, conditioners etc.
We won’t be washing vast amounts (probably around twice a month in the Yorkshire Dales, Moors etc) so don’t want to go overboard, but can anyone advise if I should get showergel (could these get too sticky) or should we be looking at more conventional washing solutions and/or conditioner? And where is best to get reasonably priced stuff? Decathlon looks pretty good?
Carbolic soap.
Rinse the coal dust out of the bath first.
Just wash your self down with brake cleaner
Get a bit tub of degreaser and liberally apply all over the family. We use an old stick (previously a paint stirrer) to flick it at each other.
Good stiff brush for behind the ears.
