I am looking to get a wee tablet for work use - I just need something that can use for forms and the like (so if it could run Word/Excel or compatible products that would be key).
It may get used for some other stuff too (home/movies/travelling about/internet and email) but that is secondary.
Really I have absolutely no idea where to start - what is good and what isn't! I would take a laptop but battery life is a bit low and, to be fair, in the field (especially in my line of work) you don't really want something that expensive out and about!
That said - budget is a very secondary consideration. I was looking at the posh Lenovo job with an inbuilt projector... but that is probably a touch excessive really 😉
So advise away peoples please 🙂
Best ever 😀

A 'Wee tablet', is this due to your bladder control problems?
Mmmm Tablet....
I keep looking through reviews, but really don't even have a starting point! So far out of the tech loop these days!!!!
What phone do you have?
May be best to stick to a similar operating system.
I have a Microsoft Surface 3 which is a 10" tablet running Windows 10. With the optional type keyboard it is a fully fledged PC. I must admit I struggle to love it and it is a bit bulky compared to many others. It does have good battery life and fits in my man bag comfortably. Although it is a little old it or a similar Windows tablet would be my choice for a work device.
If I purely wanted a tablet though I would still go down the iPad route - maybe the 10" Pro version would be suitable?
Re. tablet size I personally find 7"/8" tablets too small to work on and too close in size to my (large) smartphone to feel the benefits of as an entertainment device.

I bought myself one of these http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Offer.aspx?p=c-hp-pavilionx2-notebook which is significantly better than a tablet and not too shabby as a laptop.
consider getting an andriod one but then just go and buy an ipad, mini or standard they are all excellent. I've had both and they just don't compare, the Ipads are brilliant and well worth the extra money.
If you are OK with Android, I got one of these...

Resonably priced for a quick tablet and you can add storage to it too.
