I need to set up some forms, that can be filled in on screen, saved and/or printed. It would be ideal if the fields populated a database as they were being completed.

I know that Acrobat X will do what I want, but are there any cheaper (or Free) alternatives out there?

Thanks

Nick.

Adobe formscentral will do it. First form is free but you need to pay for subsequent forms

I have tried Excel, and it's a bit too basic for what we need, don't have Access, so would need to buy that as well.

Anything else I should consider?
