Hello all,

My wife wants me to paint our shed. In order to get out of it I said the first thing that came into my head. Which was that I couldn't because I was walking up Snowdon with a fridge on my back to raise money for Fightforlife.org, a small UCLH affiliated charity for children with cancer. Clearly I hadn't really thought this through, because (a) I already have cancer and (b) I had half my back removed in October because of cancer.

But I really don't want to paint my shed, so there you go.

https://www.justgiving.com/Team-Bullheart/

Most of you know my story (www.team-bullheart.uk) and some of you have even raced for me, helping to raise money for charitable causes. Do me a favour - even if you don't fancy chucking a quid or two in, share the following link on your respective Myfacebookspace pages and pass the message on. It's a win-win; we help smash childhood cancer and you get to point and laugh as the bovosapien hybrid cries a bit as he hits the pain barrier in the car park when putting on his 'fridge'...

All the best,

bullheart

PS: On a genuine note I'm looking for corporate sponsorship for a genuinely tough challenge in 2017. Please drop me a line if you feel you could help via the Team Bullheart website.

You're cracked. Just stump up for someone to paint the shed and then if you still want to challenge yourself at least leave the fridge at home. Although I doubt this is your style!!!

[s]When I get on a proper computer (not the phone) I'll get something in the pot via justgiving.[/s]

Edit. Sorted.

Aren't you ****ing dead yet?!??

Heroic effort and will send money when I get home

You ARE a hero.

If you have some beers in the fridge I might pop along for a catch up.

Love to Mrs Bulheart and family

That is the worst excuse I have ever heard of for getting out of painting a shed. I mean, that's even worse than saying you've got your arm stuck in the cornflakes packet.

You need to work on your excuse skills young man.

In fact, I'm half tempted to come to Snowdonia when you do this just to laugh at you for following through on such a rubbish excuse.

Mad fool.

Done. Such a ludicrous mission, how could anyone resist supporting it.

You are a true ledge!

PS, any more Bullheart T-shirts available, mine's looking a little shabby.

In fact, I'm so disappointed in the excuse, I want to know when you are doing this so that I can turn up and follow you up the mountain pointing and laughing at you the whole way.

Either that or give you some support and carry a bucket for donations on the way from other hikers.

Massively impressed and not a little inspired. Although may i say I beat you to the idea as only last year I took the family out for a picnic, and took a coolbox up to Box Hill (by car but that's because the family are too lazy to walk it, I could have done it myself.....)

You know what would help?

I've got to sort a playlist out for the walk up the hill. Post your back-related song titles here with the appropriate Youtube link and lets all laugh at my future predicament...

Chucked a few coppers into the pot. (Need to get rid of my loose change so that it doesn't wear holes in the pockets of my Hebden trousers) 🙂

Just thought I would give this a bit of a bump.

Come on, who wouldn't give money to man with a weird heart? Climbing a massive rock? With a kitchen appliance?
