I'm doing a long linear ride this sat through Stafford, Newport then on b roads to Shrewsbury. After that it's the B4386 to Montgomery.
Anyone recommend good cyclists tshops en route?
I don't really want to veer off route as it's 140mile all in

Spent 10 years living north of Shrewsbury and scratching my head to think of a cyclists tea shop anywhere near your route. The pub in High Ercall used to be okay and is on your route from Newport, it used to be open all day. Just south of High Ercall by a couple of miles on the way to Shrewsbury is a huge garden centre with a restaurant/tea room, it has acres of green houses and pensioners trying to park Nissan Micras outside! Other than that, the transport cafe at Tilstock is good if you wanted to fill up with lard, but that is a little bit north from the route I imagine you will be taking.
Some lovely places in Montgomery....but I guess that doesn't really help 😳
