Evening all
Filling in my self assessment online form.
When it comes to the turnover and expenses page,do I add my personal allowance to my expenses and enter it as one figure?
At the moment I haven't,but when I get to the calculation page it doesn't take my personal allowance into account, which results in me owing too much tax.
I'm going to ring them tomorrow, but if some kind soul can offer some guidance, I think I'll sleep easier tonight.
Cheers.
Not the answer you specifically want but
Employ an accountant... they should save you MUCH more money than they charge.
And added bonus.... you can sleep tight.
Personal Allowance has nothing to do with turnover and expenses - you need to employ an accountant
