My first year - I am sorted with most things but I had one share dividens cheque last year - a measly £7 - Finding the reciept maybe difficult - Do you think the Tax office is that bothered about a dividens income of £7?
probably not worth the effort in reality. but if you know how many shares you have off the top of your head (or on the share cert) then you can find the dividend off the net and work it out exactly, jobs a good un!
Given that my experience with HMRC is that they lose most of my paperwork, don't tell me that their VAT bank payment details have changed until I've managed to deposit £1500 into their old VAT account, send personal documents to my company accountant and company documents direct to me, then I can only say that they'll nail you to the wall over a missing £7 receipt 😉
(I wouldn't sweat it mate)
Cheers dudes - I won't turn the house upsidedown then 😉
If its £7 put £7 on the tax return. Simples.
