I've seen various discussions on here regarding Wacom tablets and how great they are for input onto a desktop, drawing, annotations etc.

I've decided to invest in one, but their range seems quite wide and would love to hear real people's experience.
I'm happy to pay more for valuable features, but obviously having never used one before i'm not sure which features are actually valuable.

It'd be mostly used for marking up work drawings, online whiteboards, annotating documents etc, maybe getting into photo manipulation but not professional photoshopping.

I'm on Ipad/iPhone on mobile devices so think this will be for laptop only.

One by Wacom seems a good set up, but the Intueos also looks good with the additional features/buttons etc.
DOes the Wacom One with the actual screen make a big difference? It looks far more intuitive but not sure if its worth the ££

Buy cheap to start with and work my way up, or just invest and get using?

The Intuos are great. I’ve got a series 4 and wouldn’t be without it. Sure it takes a period of adjustment but it doesn’t take long to get used to it. I think the Medium is large enough for nearly all tasks also.

If money allowed I’d happily have one with an in-built screen. Not convinced, now I’m used to a tablet, it would make a huge amount of difference but would like one just because :).

Don’t discount the XP-Pen ones either. They’re very good by all accounts and if I were going for one with a screen I think that’s where I’d be looking.
