I have 5 (i think) paraffin lamps here that Lyanda bought early last year. One is a miniature, one is an old car/miners lamp style, one large has a glass base and two large are brass or copper base. They have no sentimental value to me and wandering whats best to do with them. I guess there is a collectors market for them? Does anyone know where best to start?

They sell really well at autojumbles / carboots / steam fairs etc. and Ebay of course. Seen them fetch 40-60 for larger ones if working (I have one here in bits and a refurbishment kit that I'm yet to get around to doing).
I still like them for camping lights, nice light and a bit of heat, just have to be careful with them.

Some miners lamps can be worth a decent mountain bike money.

Still going through everything and trying to sort it out, but had completely forgotten about pictures. My mind over the past year has been a fog and I forget everything 😔 will get them all together and take some photos. Thanks for the reminder.

If you have a pukka safety lamp I may well be interested in taking it off your hands.
