As title really.

Like the look of some of the karndean designs but never actually seen it in the flesh.

What's it like and how durable is it ?

Ta

My aunt has it, i was spectacularly impressed with the feel and quality.

Not sure what else i can add to that but if i had the money i'd have gone for it

The Knight tile is shite (imho) the rest are not too shabby and will wear well if maintained properly

I have Amtico (which is the same) in kitchen, dining room, hallway, downstairs wc, 2nd lounge, bathroom and ensuite, and wouldn't have anything else!!! Wish I had it in all other rooms in house instead of carpet, very hardwaring and easy to clean

Do you just use a mop on it or does it need special cleaning stuff ?

No its not Amtico will out last Karndean by a factor of lots

Amtico Spacia is a similar product to Karndean but it also has a thicker wear surface on it than all the karndean range

Very impressed with ours. It does scratch (moved a sofa without realising a nail was poking out of the foot) but the scratches polish out to the point where you really have to catch the light to see them.

Really easy to keep clean, esp if you have pets. Not as warm as carpet to walk on though. Need special cleaning and coating fluids which aren't cheap but last quite a while.

The installation is vital; the floor must be screed perfectly flat, otherwise it'll look crap. Our fitter was great and added edging detail etc which really makes it look stunning. Get recommendations if you can

Got it, getting more.
Love it. Quieter and more dent resistant than wood. Walnut effect, people think it's engineered wood.
Just mop it.
4 years on, it's proving very good. MTB proof and more recently toddler proof.

Got a 14 year old amtico floor in our lounge, very heavy use, many, many ferrets and two dogs. It's the rough sawn finish so hides the scratches reasonably well. Looking a bit tired in places when looked at closely but still very impressed with it.

Go for the better quality Karndean and it's really good. Bit dearer than engineered but not greatly so ime. Quality of laying is everything (fnarr) and it's not a simple diy job but seeming worth it so far!
