Not ones that leave you dehydrated more the.

Carrying food camping and more specifically adding some healthier option for the other half who is facing 8 weeks in hotels and spends alot of time in them week to week.

Do they actually taste nice?
Is there a font of dried dinner kniwledge?
What do i need?

Is s/he not on expenses? If yes, then hotel food need not be unhealthy.

Are you planning on dehydrating your own? Some stuff rehydrates better than others? Chilli works well; gnocchi less so for example.

15 quid a day for all three meals which is a joke. She gets that regardless of whether she spends it.

Its less about the health more about boredom. And the times she doesn't feel like going out especially as its a premier inn (brewers fayre) on the outskirts of town.

Noted about chilli and gnochi ta!

£15 a day is a joke - can she claim by receipts - i.e. what she spends..

Certainly not for 8 weeks away..

£15 a day is just rude.

Is she obliged to use hotels? Would finding a rental or AirBnB be possible, thereby giving access to a kitchen, meaning 15 a day is much easier to manage?

Could you pre-freeze portions if travelling weekly, that'd get you to tues or weds with a bit of care and a cool box.

Yeah I rarely go out when I'm away, but then I get up to £44/day. That sucks. Best option is probably Tesco on the way back from work. Is breakfast included in the hotel? There's usually stuff you can pinch for lunch.

It's (just about) possible to warm a ready meal up to edible temperature with a sink and a kettle, although it takes ages

You can also get salad bowls from the supermarket and other fresh food.

You could bring something from home for the first night and keep that £15 for a blowout later in the week.

Takeaways deliver to hotels, you can eat a decent amount from Dominos for £15 or less and probably some local places via Just Eat or similar. A large pizza can be £15 ish, you could save some of it for lunches.
