Hmmm, I'll be watching with interest (recent neck & throat ops means I'm rather beardy tight now)

I find the wife's conditioner works wonders on my beard. Smells nice too - but I'm not worried I'm turning into a metrosexual just yet. I'll do that if the fancy takes me for a man-bag. Since I'm not shaving I'm not getting dry skin so that's not a problem.

Obvious questions maybe, but....

Left-handed shaving?

Electric shaver?

I use Mr Natty's Beard Oil when I go unshaven for more than 7 days - keeps things nice and soft and helps with itchiness...

(And yes, I'm sure you could probably knock something up from essential oils and a decent base oil for less if you had access to the right stuff. However a little goes a LONG way and it's lasted me a good while)

may as well be snake oil...
if you have your beard for long enough it will start to soften naturally - after a couple of months. oil will just encourage dirt.

scissors, beard trimmer, tweezers.
my beard goes very wirey for a couple of months and then starts to settle down as it starts to grow along the face rather than straight out

Have up on oil as I stated getting the worst plooks ever that was 12 years ago. My beard has been likened to copper wire of the same thickness.
