due to circumstances (mangled nerves in my hand) I am unable to shave, got a beard in October to everyone saying oh Movember,,no October but apparently I need to look after s=kin and beard what is beard oil???
Hmmm, I'll be watching with interest (recent neck & throat ops means I'm rather beardy tight now)
I find the wife's conditioner works wonders on my beard. Smells nice too - but I'm not worried I'm turning into a metrosexual just yet. I'll do that if the fancy takes me for a man-bag. Since I'm not shaving I'm not getting dry skin so that's not a problem.
Just apply a few drops of jojoba or almond oil ... 🙄
Obvious questions maybe, but....
Left-handed shaving?
Electric shaver?
Will it help with itchiness., I am at the itchy phase and it is driving me mental!
I use Mr Natty's Beard Oil when I go unshaven for more than 7 days - keeps things nice and soft and helps with itchiness...
(And yes, I'm sure you could probably knock something up from essential oils and a decent base oil for less if you had access to the right stuff. However a little goes a LONG way and it's lasted me a good while)

Crikey £10 for that small bottle ... 😯
may as well be snake oil...
if you have your beard for long enough it will start to soften naturally - after a couple of months. oil will just encourage dirt.
Blimey, beard oil! Ha I've heard everything now
Blimey, I've been bearded for over 20 years and never knew this stuff existed.
Tache wax is where it's at....
left handed shaving.........not sure
electric razors make no impression
five weeks in and thick not where near softening actually like steel wool
wash every mornig and evening with pure soap but getting dry and itchy in two places hence conditioner questions/maintance
There I was, thinking beards were manly. 😀
oh okay does this help
BEARD MAINTANCE what tools are required?? 😉
scissors, beard trimmer, tweezers.
my beard goes very wirey for a couple of months and then starts to settle down as it starts to grow along the face rather than straight out
Have up on oil as I stated getting the worst plooks ever that was 12 years ago. My beard has been likened to copper wire of the same thickness.
Do you not have a barber in town?
