Got a Canon D500 just wondering if anyone can recommend anything for carrying a DSLR camera on a mountain bike?

simonofbarnes to the thread please! IMO you need something to keep it out and handy otherwise you won't bother with it - I think Simon uses a lowepro thing on his chest attached to the strap, but I'm not sure as I use a GF1 which goes in a smaller case.

The Lowepro chest mount does make it very handy but not every gets away with them, I used one for ages then switched back to putting it in my camelback.

Tamrac holdster type thing on a belt worn on arse is my preference. I have a chest rig for it too but I find it a bit awkward. Having said that I bought an Olympus Pen to replace my dslr for bike duties. A lot less hassle.
