Looking for a speedier replacement for my Huawei Mediapad M3 lite.
Got a Maximum budget of £500.
Mainly used for Sky go, Amazon Prime and Netflix, listening to music so good quality sounds is a must and at least 32gb storage for on the go photo editin with light room mobile and Snapspeed.
Any recommendation?
Only ones I've seen are the Huawei Mediapad M5, Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 or Ipad Air.
Did have a Ipad Mini 2 from 2015-18 when the battery munched itself.

Galaxy tab s3 here, had it 18/20 months, quality bit of kit, can be had at Currys for 399, could buy a bigggg as card to boost the memory with your spare 100 quid.

As above, S3. Can't see anything significantly better enough to warrant upgrading. Buy a keyboard case with the extra cash if you need/want one.

iPad, love mine. It’s the first thing I pack for a trip.

We use Galaxy 6 Tab A’s at work. They’re crap. Part of it is software, the company’s own app keeps breaking whenever there’s an OS update, but there’s no flash, so they’re useless for taking photos in the dark, which we have to do in the winter, so you have to work out a way to hold a torch.
One of them has now developed a spot on the screen that doesn’t respond to touch, the Wi-fi is flaky...
Oh, and the Samsung phones we’ve been given don’t work when appraising cars on arrival, because the camera causes the app to crash.
I had three tablets stop working on me today, I nearly walked out, because I can’t do my job with tech that doesn’t function, and it’s driving me nuts!
If only the powers that be would try LG, or Huwaiwe, or anything other than Samsung, but IT are continually trying to sort out daily issues with the bloody things. 😖

Really happy with my Huawei M5. Lovely screen, Apple build quality. Speakers are great.

I’m not really a fan of apple, in fact iOS annoys me quite a bit, but for a tablet the iPad doesn’t have much competition unless you are talking surface pro money

Surface Go. I'm going to switch from my iPad Mini 4 (which is a great device btw) to a Surface. Like the form factor and like Windows 10 - can run proper software. Take two elecrical devices on holiday/Work?

Reviews have been stellar. Apple should be worried by this one.

on the recommend what you've got idea...

get a chromebook. Better than android tablets, and if you get a vaguely decent one it'll be able to use all android apps

Did fancy a Chromebook but they are a bit big to get in my rucksack, plus shoes, food and my 2 litre bottle of water.
At the moment it's a tossup between the Tab5se, iPad Air or just stick with my Huawei.
