Its that time of year again, my VW T5 transporter needs insuring.

Where's best at the mo? I've had a chat with the confused.com folks and compared my normal broker rate with Direct Line etc.

Also, any chance of getting car type insurance for a window van? I'm sure I've read on here that folk with vans can get private car policies.

and whilst we're on, you may as well show us yer pimped (or not) VWs

National Farmers Union.
Well, NFU Mutual.

Ring your nearest branch for a quote. Excellent personal service and cheapest by a long way for me on my T4 and now on a Vito. Normal policy, about £30 a month fully comp, unlimited mileage and business use.

You don't need to be a farmer either...

Got my 2.5 T4 insured through a-plan, 250'ish fully comp after they mirrored my no-claims from the car.

T5 Kombi insured with Gladiator. Its insured as a commercial rather than private as it worked out cheaper.

Used to be with Direct Line but they couldn't even get close.
