I want to customise a T shirt as a present so I want the t shirt to be decent quality.
There seem to be lots of places on Google...

Anyone used an outfit and can recommend?

Cheers

Do you want to have a logo/text (single or multiple colour) or picture printed onto he shirt? The process will differ for these options.

T-Shirt studio do all of my forum merch.

Quality depends sometimes on the logo etc. But overall I've been happy .

I've used Streetshirt for both one-off and orders of a couple of hundred - plenty of choice of tshirt style and quality - so the garment quality is as good as you're prepared to pay for and nice vivid colour for direct printing so you don't need to limit yourself to white / pale shirts

you can either upload your own artwork or use their online design page if its something text based.

The only real not of caution is their next day dispatch guarantee is nonsense - the reality is about a week for arrival with their 'money back' element of the guarantee really being a voucher for a future order (which will also, in reality, take a week to arrive and so on)

Thanks all will have a look later.
It's a photo come picture and I want to add some wording.

Might be worth looking at this place as well. Not used them but have bought stuff from their sister company, the base t-shirts seem decent quality

I have used Teemill and Streetshirts. Teemill use a direct-to-garment process onto an organic cotton tee - has a softer, better quality feel. Streetshirts used a heat-applied transfer, so doesn’t have the same quality feel but were cheaper. I’m still wearing some Teemill ones, the Streetshirts were done for a promo and don’t get worn.

Don't do it after a few drinks via the first ebay hit, the print will be rubbish and it'll be too cheap to be worth complaining about.

I've used Stickermule a few times for stickers and got good results. Sent me an offer the other day, £7 for 1 custom t-shirt

When I recommended Teemill I linked to the "brand" site. As a one off I think you can use them via their sister company https://rapanuiclothing.com/design-your-own-tee/?cgi=2&utm_medium=teemail&camp=1380&utm_source=newsletter&utm_campaign=sustainable-fun-on-your-phone-2022-03-13&utm_content=design-your-own-tee

If you want to do it yourself you can buy T-shirt printing sheets you print off in your own machine then iron on. Called - Iron-On Transfer Paper.

Easy to get and cheap as chips.

So you can either use photoshop, paint etc to design your print then reel it off and iron on.

I did in my final year of college for our end of year show a t-shirt of my FLW Mayer May writing desk.

T-shirt printing sheets

We did this for our trip to Silverstone. Cheap T shirts, silly stuff printed on, absolutely unique design know one else had and got loads of questions of where we got them from.. Great for a one off event, not sure how many washes they will take.

Great for a one off event, not sure how many washes they will take.

They say to wash it inside out. I didn't bother and mine went a bit cracked after 1/2 dozen or so, but it was for that one off event and i wasn't really that bothered.  That said, I wash everything at about 60 degrees, so maybe less heat it would have lasted longer.

As to quality of shirt. I've an ex mate who runs a clothing shop and they do their own embroidery etc, for t shirts he bought fruit of the loom, so i would guess those are pretty robust.

I might pick up some more of those transfer sheets, it was fun making it up.

NOTE. It needs to be reverse printed, but i found on my printer it had a reverse print setting(who'd have thought) and this wasn't an expensive machine, cost about 30 odd quid.

Thanks for help
I have been over thinking it for this occasion, it's a wind up birthday T so went with streetshirt.
I'll make a note of the others if I need some better quality shirts another time.
Cheers.
