Wa gwan.

I want to paddle board from Kerne bridge to Symonds Yat at the weekend, leaving my car at Yat and getting to Kerne bridge with my board via a taxi or bus or whatever.

Anyone recommend a taxi company down that way to try?

If they could take the board fully inflated all the better.
I've tried Kenny's taxis but all booked up.
👍

Pop's Bus is very good, and his vehicle is big enough to fit the paddle board inside without deflating it. He's on Facebook if you Google him.

Also recommend Kennys but yes he gets booked up well ahead.

The Wye flows quite fast past the YHA. If you can't get a taxi you could consider the bus from Monmouth to Goodrich, number 34. Not sure how practical when you would have to carry the pump. You can park at Monmouth Rowing Club and the buses stop on Dixton Rd. It is a faff compared to the taxis setup for watersports though.

Cheers for that. It's finding how near a bus goes to Yat East I guess. It's potentially a bit of a trek out to find a bus stop.

This is the 34
