I have finally reached the point of middle age where I'm considering buying a brand new sofa that will fit the decor of the living room we are revamping rather than just buying whatever i can find secondhand that is vaguely decent. Facebook knows I'm looking and has presented me with an advert for Swyft sofas.

I really like the look of one as it will go great with our parquet floor but no idea if these are worth the money or are they just a modern day dfs? Cheers.

Have an model 1 in vine velvet,Great company to deal with, get some free swatches posted to help decide.Pricey, but really well made, hard wood framed and well cushioned.ours is about a year old and gets a hard life, with dogs bouncing all over it,and a surley big unit of a teenager spilling and slobbing all over it.

To say its modular its rock solid, and looks as good as day one, very very easy to assemble. We find it very comfy to chill on.. its only a 2 seater but easily get 3 sitting in comfort.

Highley recommend

I’m sitting on one right now - have 2x 3 seaters. The actually arrived quicker than expected to the Isle of Mull. Each sofa comprises 3 massive boxes - but we got 3 of 1 box and only 1 of another. We got the replacement about a week later and they collected the other - they also gave us a £200 refund for the aggro. Easy to assemble and very sturdy.
I can directly compare that with a Cocoon sofa bed which was ordered at the same time but was 8 weeks late, had to chase them constantly. It was sent on a truck from Poland but when they realised my address was on a Scottish Island they took it all the way back to Poland to put it on another couriers truck. It finally arrived unannounced on a Friday afternoon strapped to a pallet and wrapped in plastic in the pissing rain on an open bed truck with no tail lift - it was like unloading a greased pig. Never again - lot of people have similar experience on Trustpilot.

We've just bought two sofas from Ercol factory outlet, for Swyft money...

One of ours is blue velvet...

It's a bit 'sit and wait', but weekly they seem to have cancelled orders etc added.
