Should I or should I rest and go and see the doc?
Today's ride was crap and I'm not sure if there's any connection.
Depends which glands...
I wouldn't choose to go cycling unless I was in good health. I don't feel a proper bike ride boosts the immune system, which as the swollen glands suggest, presumably in your case has been compromised.
yeah which glands? lol
if glands are tender and fixed - DOCTOR...
if glands are non-tender and mobile - probably just reactive nodes from maybe a cut / cold / bruise / etc
go and see a dr anyway innit.
riding is too important.
If riding doesn't feel good then don't do it. Why's that a difficult one for you?
maybe just reactive nodes from a cold / cough / shaving cut / spot / anything remotely slightly infectious.
we all get them and if we didn't we'd be dead. but see a doc if you are worried (disclamer)
but see a doc if you are worried
Not at all worried, I just noticed that today's ride was a bit slower than normal (2km/hr reduction) and coincidentally there was a pain under the jaw line which may or may not be glands.
I'll see how it goes on Sat morning.
Thanks all.
I've had sore glands for weeks, bloody everywhere, neck, groin, back of knees, inside of elbow joints 🙁
Went to the doc last week and had blood tests for glandular fever, white blood cell count and liver and kidney function, all ok apparently
I had the same last night and it feels quite tender and my jaw aches. Got a cold starting so presume its related. Whenever I feel low my glands swell up
