The wifes (and main hoover user) dyson is noisy, clumsy and the suction power randomly changes, I've seen the gtechs advertised on TV for £200, was thinking about getting one for the convenience, we've got a Henry that could be used where a hose is required, anyone use a gtech?

Your Dyson has a two year warranty , try phoning them up before spending anymore cash.

My mum has a gtech. I thought it was a gimmick from the Sunday papers, but it's pretty good. It's all she uses, just needs emptying a lot. They have them at work, too.

I bought my Mrs an air ram when she was pregnant ( as it was lighter and mucher easier to use in the later stages of pregnancy).

It's brilliant. Really good at sucking and quiet to.

( this post is going quite right lol )

Awesome customer service from gtech too. Last week after two years I rang them to complain that it had started to become noiser. They sent me a brand new one the next day.

We also have a Henry for the heavy duty jobs.

Have you washed the filters in your Dyson? That will solve your suction problems.

We have a G Tech , but keep it upstairs to use as a secondary Hoover when it Just needs a quick whizz round.
I couldn't imagine doing the whole house with it every week.
We have a Miele for that.

My mum has a Gtech, and the world's most pointlessly deep carpet and a very long-haired cat - she finds it excellent.

Note - her's is the K9 pet version - available from their website.

I've got a GTech Multi. It needs emptying a lot and the filter needs washing a lot, I bought a spare filter (my house isn't grubby). It's great for doing the car and small jobs around the house, I use a plug in vacuum for the floors.
