I've a works laptop that's connected to my twin screen set up.

Is there an easy way to swap to a personal laptop So I have only one keyboard etc? Just a switch from A to B that flicks keyboard screens etc over

I'd love to also set a monitor to each laptop so I could work n browse or stream something on one laptop and but that's more that would be nice....

A KVM is what you seek.

My monitor has more than one HDMI input, so I keep both my desktop PC and laptop plugged into it.

I just move the USB keyboard and mouse plugs from desktop to laptop when I'm switching between them, takes 10 secs.

Have they got USBC thunderbolt? That's what I use, with a dock.

Just unplug one laptop and plug in the other. All peripherals up and running in 1 go.

Plenty of bluetooth keyboards and mice will allow you to switch machines at the touch of a button. Keyboard I'm using on my phone now can switch between 3 machines using fn+(1|2|3). Monitor setup would be a seperate issue and not something I've tried. I'm sure there's probably better solutions to switch all at once.

I knew you were going to ask me that.

Honestly, I don't know. I haven't used consumer-grade KVMs in forever. You'll need to look for something that will support whatever your laptops and displays support (so dual screens and, what, DisplayPort / HDMI / DVI / VGA (ugh) / USB-C et al).

Plenty of bluetooth keyboards and mice will allow you to switch machines at the touch of a button.

That's what I use, but I'm not hopping screens. Logitech FTW.

I have one of those UGREEN switches that I don't use anymore. OP is welcome to have it to try out for a donation to mountain rescue or similar. PM me if you want it.
