We're heading up to Swaledale for the Ard Rock Enduro in August and would like to get another ride or two in over a long weekend. Any suggestions for killer local loops - length 20-30 miles?
Also, any suggestions for good value accomodation locally? Riding from the doorstep would be nice but not essential...

I don't know Swaledale that well for mountain biking but Wensleydale is a ridable hop to the south and somewhere like Hawes is a good base with some classic Dales riding on the doorstep.
The dales bike centre is great ,theres accomodation on site or camping in the field next to it, within half a mile to the climb up to fremington edge which gets you up to the best trails , you can either ask Stuart and he'll hellp you with a route or do what me and my mate did and just join upo all the comedy names on the map .
