Getting a lift there by my son. Just want to check if he is entering a some we bed to pay for.
Looking at the map, it appears part of it is and some not, if you imagine the north and south circular (a406 and a205)as a ring road anything inside the Ringway is ulez and requires additional charges, anything outside of this is a LEZ and no additional payment required
Keith
All of London is LEZ....from 28th of August it will all change to ULEZ (grrrr) which mean I've got to scrap my perfectly working and get a new van ULEZ compliant one...right where money it tight etc
Pretty sure it's £12.50 a day for non compliant motors
The address itself appears not to be but it depends where you are coming from if you’ll hit the ULEZ. If you come up the a3 it isn’t but if you come through London you could be liable.
You also need to check if your vehicle is liable

You will be ok as long as you dont go inside either the North or South Circular which you shouldn't need to wherever you are coming from. In the past I might have cut through Park Royal if coming from the North but that is pointless with Hammersmith Bridge shut.
Yep, as stated if you're coming up the A3 from the south you'll be ok. The lower Richmond road (s circular) at the other end of Roehampton lane is the current ulez limit.
Great things have come out of that address, but the maternity ward closed several decades ago 😉
Sorry, meant to post route!
That route will be fine but if you carry on past the hospital to the big junction with the A205 that's where the zone starts. Be sure to turn around the drive out the way you came in!
Ah, cheers mate!
Thanks for all the info guys.👍
First though, is his car even liable to pay ? Put the reg in here:

Cheers, will check. It's free road tax even though it's a diesel!
This vehicle meets the ULEZ emissions standards
You do not need to pay a daily ULEZ charge to drive in the zone, and are helping to improve air quality across London. However, if you see the Congestion Charge displayed below, you will need to pay that daily charge to drive in central London.
there you go, any Euro 6 compliant car is exempt, and as Euro 6 came in in 2015 anything newer than that will almost certainly be compliant
Which is a pisser if you have a perfectly good vehicle that is older, and also challenges if the environmental impact of a whole new car vs keeping an already existing one running offsets the benefit, but the ULEZ is about improving air quality in cities, not the overall environmental picture. Rightly or wrongly.
Note too - you'd still have to pay the congestion charge if you went far enough in (you're miles off that area though - that's real central London, Westminster, Soho, Marylebone, Lambeth, City, etc.) - no exemptions there.

My 2009 petrol Skoda, 2008 petrol Honda and 28 year old c90 are all fine. It’s diesels which are problematic.
yes, correct, bad wording on my part. Although, not so long ago were being shovelled towards diesels because they had better mpg's and were 'better' for the environment, so if you changed a petrol for a diesel on the back of that and now can't drive it into your nearby town (not just London with emission zone restrictions) I can well imagine you'd be pissed off.
When I bought my last car (5 years ago now, car was 2 years old at the time, 7 now) I was unaware of this, only luck that I got a E6 compliant one.
