Hi Guys
Appart from the big 2 Mojo and TF Tuned who uses other small independants?
Ive seen a deal with this guy - Grant at SouthCoast Suspension for April
£129 fork and shock service with free postage. - Reviews seem really good and its £100+ cheaper than mojo etc
Worth a try??

I've used Loco tuning before and was happy with the service he gave. Happy to chat on the phone explaining anything you're not sure about. And also doesn't mind in actually fixing things rather than just swap the whole part for the new one for the sake of a broken bolt for example.
A friend also has used Plush tuning and had good things to say about them too.
If its just a simple service I'd prob give them a go if they are local to you.
After the scandal with the Royal Mail keeping shocks, and selling them on I probably won't use the big centres again. Luckily I've found a really good local guy
Pace Service Centre at Dalby Forest will take your shock off, stick one of theirs on and then service your shock while you have a blat round the red prior to refitting the original.
Inspired service I reckon.
Will be booking mine in for that in the near future and will report back.
J-Tech Suspension just past shrewsbury, nothing but good things to say about the bloke.
locos been good for me
Rebound Suspension in Horwich. £100 fork and shock service. Great customer service too. Looks like they have an offer on as well....

Thanks for the recommendations, just wanted to make it clear that there is a difference in what some companies call a 'Full' rear shock service.
For example Fox recommend a full service every X amount of hours this is a full strip of the damper unit and replacement of all seals, oil, gas etc.
The same can be said of forks 'full' services that are just lower service.
Look at the details of what is actually being done for the price paid as you maybe getting less than what your suspension is actually needs.
HTH. Simon.
Ive used grant at southcoast suspension a few times now and i cant recomend him enough i rang him for some advice yesterday regarding the ctd on my rear shock due to it being a canyon and advised me that they fit a low compression tune. He also has a very quick turn around im local to him so all the work done and had my forks back the next day.
These guys come well recommended around here;

Would also really recommend Grant @Southcoast Suspension.
Excellent service with a nice and easy postal collection. Grant performs top quality work and charges a very reasonable price!
Yeah cheers guys
Few other mates have had grant do work so I'll get them sent off after the weekend, at that price it's stoopid not to I guess ha ha
evening guys been busy or i would of posted earlier,
Fox don't sell the internal seals to anyone for a rear shock so like the other independents i am sure, I have had them copied to the same spec so a full rear shock service is just that everything gets replaced even down to a 2mm x 1mm o-ring you will find deep inside your shock like wise with a full fork service, I'm an approved service dealer for fox so a full fork service is again just that.
and cheers for the support to those who have used me
Up in Scotland there is FloTec, who are apparently Fox authorised. Someone I know used them recently and said they were great. http://www.flotecsuspension.co.uk/
Personally I've used Mojo before but if there is a Fox Authorised place just down the road then I'm probably going there next time
Hi Grant, just to make it cear that the previous post wasn't aimed at you having spoken to you.
The Fox 'authorised' thing is just a course of a day or two on fork servicing and suspension tech stuff, good money earner I would imagine so will give basics of servicing, they don't Authorise anyone to service rear shocks other than Mojo in the UK.
Think I'm the only independant fox factory trained engineer, in the UK.
#waves willy a bit 😉
Ha ha waves willy love it simon and I know it wasn't directed at me
And speak soon
