[Closed] Surveyor and solicitor recommendations: Sowerby Bridge

As in the title really. Buying somewhere in Sowerby Bridge, seems to be a decent Calderdale representation on here - any recommendations for surveyor or conveyance solicitor? It's an older house, so likely to involve a full survey.

Solicitor:. Andrew Crabtree at Wilkinson Woodward in Halifax.

Used many times, always good.

You don't need to use a local conveyancer, any decent company can do it.

Have used Angela Vinny from 'fax, was absolutely fine. Also Finn gledhill, wouldn't again.
We have used a local surveyor, one from Keighley who was recommended, on the strength of his report, we pulled out of a purchase and the vendor reported him to rics and took legal action. Whole thing not helped by vendors online estate agents. See if your solicitor has an associated surveyor, I think it might be easier.
