Can anyone recommend me a surge protector for the co-ax connection to my TV?
A few years ago a TV of ours was destroyed when lightning touched down close by.
Would hate the same thing to happen again, especially as the "TV" in question is a 27inch iMac.
(This would not be a case of lightning stricking twice as we have since moved.)
not sure normal surge proctetors will protect against lightning strikes?
run copper wire from aerial to ground will cost a few quid but the surge from lightening will be WAY too big for any surge protector 240 volts versus 100000000 V ish for lightening
