Just had a phone call to say that my 10 yr old daughter and her school team have qualified for a place at the primary-school national swimming championships in June.
Just wanted to share.
I AM SO PROUD!!!
6 yrs of sitting through weekly swimmimg lessons is suddenly all worthwhile!

She's also a fantastic mtb'er, but that's what Mum and Dad do, so doesn't really count! 😉

Thats exemplary , cos I know just how much effort goes into this sport, my mates daughter did the same thing, Mom or / and Dad up at 5am for swimming practice at local baths most mornings b4 school and away weekends etc for years on end.. His daughter did this until she left senior school !
