Mario is a pathway game into stronger stuff like Zelda.

722 days clean.
Never defeated Bowser in Super mario world
Beat Ganon once.

At the risk of sounding pretentious, I think Super Mario Galaxy is a work of art. The music and the way the music fits into the game is amazing. There are some brilliant concepts in the game. I love it. Easily my favorite Wii game.
