Coming to the end of a mad crazy month, looking forward to finally easing up and relaxing and riding over the weekend, and have down with a stinking headcold, feel like rubbish.
Why not a month ago!?
Always the way. I think if you are flat out busy, your immune system recognises it and is all hands to the pumps to fight off invaders to let you keep dealing with whatever is stressing you. Then when you draw breath and start to relax, your immune system decides to take its foot off the gas too. Or perhaps it recognises you are better able to deal with an infection if you are resting than when you are running around stressed to the max, so lets down the drawbridge to the bugs as soon as you put your feet up. That could all be bollox, but it's certainly happened to me loads of times. GWS.
Nearly nine months ago I thought I was coming down with an innocent sore throat and head cold, that began on the second day of our family break at Longleat Center Parcs. Not a single cough. Day after we got back, thought I'd do a covid LFT, instant positive. Worsening respiratory symptoms during following week but still no cough, still positive following weekend. And here I am in the club you don't want to be in, the long covid club.
Just saying.
Waiting for the "Have you done a test" posts....
Dammit! Too late
Me right now since Saturday. Diarrhoea. Stomach cramps. Headache. Neck ache. Fatigue. No appetite.
Anyone got any MTFU pills?
