Looking to get some cheap speakers for use on the turbo. Not too fussed about getting hifi quality but it does need to be properly loud with plenty of bass. Any suggestions?

Yeah. Define cheap....

If you want loud with bass, something like these would probably fit the bill:

Logitech speakers and sub

But is £75 cheap?

Headphones for the win, get some that block out a decent proportion of the noise.

Or get a better turbo......

Don't have a specific budget in mind.  Ideally less than £100, but would be happy if I could get away with paying much less.

Far too sweaty to be wearing headphones.  As for changing the turbo... it's not about drowning out the turbo noise, it's about drowning out all the thoughts about how boring and painful it is.

I currently have a very old Aiwa CD/tape/radio which is really quite knackered.  It definitely ticks the loud box, but I'd prefer something smaller and less broken.

I got an anker soundcore 2 for this purpose but it wasn't loud enough so I sent it back and got a soundcore boost instead. It's good for turboing but not so good for neighbour relations.

This  packs a lot of punch for around the £100 mark, I have one, it's definitely loud and very bass heavy

I've got a JBL Flip 4. Sounds way bigger than it is and it survives being knocked about.

Got nothing to compare it to but no complaints.

Richer Sounds seems to have some bargains at the mo.

Ive bought this Onkyo for the Mrs for Christmas so can’t tell you how it sounds. Reviews seem good though.

https://www.richersounds.com/onkyo-vc-gx30-black.html

Seems to be £199 in other shops, £49 at RS.

Plenty of bass? You want a Jam Heavy Metal. A beast of a speaker.

Actually used it in a car with a broken stereo (and not a nice, quiet car!) and it was too loud.

(£60 Currys.

Might be able to find cheaper though, as pretty sure I only paid £30 a couple of black fridays ago)

My Cambridge minx 200 make a better sound than my Sonos 5 but network connectivity is dodgy, but as a standalone Bluetooth speaker it's very good.

Might be able to pick a cheap one up on eBay.
