Just bought a 2nd hand one for the kids for Xmas. Its new to me so any ideas for a couple of games that they might like (both girls)? Also, a couple for the "grown ups" when the kids are in bed...
Cheers
PS - not the latest releases - won't be paying top dollar for these!
Just Dance always goes down a storm with my daughters. I've got them the new one (4) for christmas and it was under £20!
Mariokart is always a winner. with adults or kids. I've lost large chunks of my life to it
Mario Kart
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves
Wii Party
Mario Kart is an absolute must
Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Whatnots
Rabbids Go Home (You'll like this one too)
Wii Sports Resort
Lego Star Wars (My lass loves playing it)
The only problem with Just Dance is that you'll be expected to play it too, which, frankly, is not a good thing.
any of the wii sports resort type ones.
lego star wars.
for sonic olympics, mario kart etc etc have a bit of a google and you can find downloads to release all levels.
tony hawk downhill jam is great for kids and dads and you can get it cheap as it was never popular, its a racing game based on skateboards. very easy to play.
Resident Evil 4 for the adults.
One of the Zelda Games for all of you.
Wario Ware for the kids.
Super Mario Galaxy for all of you.
Don't forget that most Gamecube (the previous Nintendo console) games should work fine too.
Loads of reviews on line, try IGN, Gamesradar, Gamespot for lists of the best games.
Super Mario galaxy and and Mario Kart.
Should keep you occupied for a few months.
Also Donkey Kong Jnr. is a great game.
I like the Lego games...particularly good if you/the kids like the book/film - (Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings etc.)
Mario stuff is always popular too!
Most Mario games are entertaining.
My favourite is Goldeneye.
Just Dance is great fun, out lasted all the other games in our house
Any of the LEGO games are worth checking out
For Adults, the standard Wii Sports, Boxing & ten pin bowling are classics.
Guitar Hero
Mario Carts
Lego Batman
As to "Adult" gaming, if you have a wii zapper or gun shell, and like on-rails shooters, I've had a lot of fun with the Grindhouse-styled "House of the Dead:Overkill" with plenty of NSFW language & humour. There are a few mini-games for multi-player, and the main game in either two player or double-wield capability. Gore-gasm indeed...
