In that there London for the day and intend to have dinner in Chinatown but theres so many restaurants, whats good?

Four seasons is good, Chinese friends reccomend it, can get busy tho

I was going to suggest somewhere but my real suggestion would be go elsewhere. Chinatown is not great for good Chinese food TBH it's just muck for tourists mostly. Go to Hunan instead.

Feng Shui Inn at the east end of Gerrard St. About the best ratio of price to quality, without any suggestion of eatallyoucan-ness.

About 10 minutes away by cab or it's nearish Sloane Square tube, best to book.

I generally just walk past and look through the window to see how many Chinese (or at least Asian) people are eating in them, more being betterer of course!
